Entering (and winning!) the Perfect Smile Contest was perfectly natural for Yesenia.  After all, she used to do modeling and still enjoys competing as a professional ballroom and Latin dancer.  She loves new experiences and the adrenaline rush she gets when performing (and winning!) in Dance Sport, a type of national dance competition.  She enjoys pop, easy rock, Latin and romantic music that happens to tie in nicely with her two favorite movies, Dirty Dancing and Ghost.

In college, Yesenia’s favorite class was human anatomy and physiology because of her fascination with the amazing complexity and uniqueness of the human body.  As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist she gets an even deeper look at that complexity as she helps patients.  In the future, she feels that traveling around the world is something new and exciting to look forward to.

Yesenia has some very worthwhile advice for anyone contemplating braces.  First, the experience is not as bad as many people in the past have described.  Drs. Simon,
Haerian & Ludwig are always exploring new methods that make the experience easier and comfortable.  She emphasizes the role of good oral hygiene in playing a key role in obtaining the best results.  Yesenia was also very happy with her choice of clear brackets in helping her obtain her “winning smile.”
