Makenzie

When Makenzie saw the poster advertising the Idol Smile Contest 2008, she smiled. Of course, Makenzie is ALWAYS smiling, but this time it was because she saw a chance to win an iPod! Her big smile proved to be the winning ticket and now she can listen to her favorite singer, Rihainna, on her personally engraved iPod.

Makenzie is a 7th grader at a local junior high where her favorite subject is science. Outside of school, you can find her practicing gymnastics and playing softball or volleyball. She also loves to put together her own stylish outfits and plans on being a fashion designer when she grows up.

Sylvania Pediatric Dentists and her mom felt that orthodontic treatment would be a good idea and she’s glad she came to Sylvania & Lambertville Orthodontics because she likes the game room. (Little sisters Avery and Hayden enjoy coming to her appointments with her because of the same reason!)

Makenzie feels the most important tip she can share with her fellow brace wearers is to brush your teeth well and often. Removing plaque from around each bracket is the key to avoiding white scars after braces are removed. Good advice indeed, since sometime this summer or fall, she’ll be getting her own braces off and showing off her new great smile!
