Jalyn entered the Perfect Smile after giving it a try last year and coming very close to winning.  She thought it was a fun contest to enter and an even more fun one this year to win!  She thinks the best thing about our office is the fact she can provide her own transportation by riding her bike over in nice weather.  She appreciates all the little extra things the office provides such as participating at the Bedford Trade Fair where she and brother Thomas acted as our celebrity golfers.  She’s also looking forward to having a role in our YouTube video explaining how a new patient visit is conducted.  She says it will be easy to locate once it’s up because www.perfectbraces.com is very user friendly and you can find whatever you’re looking for easily.

Although Jalyn likes all her classes at school, she rates being on the yearbook staff the highest.  Taking picture, making layouts, and just meeting new people add up to time well spent.  Basketball is her real passion and shooting, scoring and hearing the crowd clapping encourages her to do her best throughout the game.  On her down time, she enjoys playing basketball just for fun, reading, and hanging out with her friends and listening to 93.3 on the radio.  Both Miss Congeniality 1 and 2 hit the top of her list of favorite movies because of combining a chick flick with comedy.

When it comes to the future, she sees her self becoming a teacher.  She would love to teach first or second grade because she really likes helping little kids.  And as a “teacher”, the most important lesson she could she teach is:  “Wear your rubber bands!  The more consistent you are in wearing them, the sooner those braces come off.”
