Getting Braced for Braces
 It will take about one hour to have braces placed on your teeth, review oral hygiene, and receive instructions. We use a process called indirect bonding that allows us to reduce the amount of chair time for our patients. This process allows for a comfortable, painless, and efficient visit. When we are finished putting on your braces, you might be a little sore but that feeling won't last long. We'll give you tips to ease the discomfort. Most of our patients are pleasantly surprised that getting their braces on was not nearly as uncomfortable as they expected it might be.One option we have available is clear brackets. These offer an aesthetic alternative to our patients. Because the brackets are clear or matched to the natural color of your teeth, the overall appearance is superb. On the day you get your braces, we will review the importance of and techniques for good brushing and oral hygiene. Many things are important to the success of your treatment, but brushing is really crucial. |
