Bowling for Kid's Sake 2008
On February 23rd, we sponsored 100 bowlers from our own “Ortho Family” to help raise money for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program during their 35th annual Bowling for Kid’s Sake fundraiser. This organization has been around for over 70 years in Northwestern Ohio, helping to create a one-to-one relationship with a supportive adult for those children who need the personal guidance and support which a volunteer can provide.
We donated $25 for each patient who entered our contest and won a spot on one of our teams. The 50 lucky winners were then allowed to invite a friend or family member (and of course, we sponsored them, too) to bowl on one of our teams. It was a very successful event, and we enjoyed supplying the “funds” so our patients could have “fun”!
